Twelve Constellations

6th to 21st February 2010
An exhibition of drawing, sculpture, video, and sound.

This exhibition brings together a selection of emerging artists whose work explores ideas concerned with discovery, antiquities, archaeology, collections, histories, archives, and curiosities. These anachronistic works are joined through an interest in slowness; through time passed, through the act of doing, through movement, and stillness. Typically, the importance of craft and materials is evident, suggesting a modest quietness.

Artists include:

Delphine Adburgham / Ignacio Canales Aracil / Henry Castle
Pip Dickens / Meryl Donoghue / Sam Hallett / Hiromi Kawasaki
Natalie McIlroy / Tom Smith / Sally Taylor / Carla Wright

Hiromi Kawasaki - Twelve Constellations, (2008), C-Type print, Music box, Motor, Micro Phone, Two Speakers
